Deep Sea Monster

My inspiration for this piece was Gerald Brom, whose never ceases to amaze me. Wanted to make a creepy under-the-sea scene.

Had a lot of fun making this one.

First I made some value comps to arrive at the best looking one. Going for a menacing, classis horror film-esque vibe

Color comps to get it just right

Decided to go for this one. It has a strong graphic value sense. However this would be great for a novel's cover, this is not my final look
